Twig in Snow

I’ve been going through some photographs from years past because if you don’t look at photos now and then what’s the point of making them in the first place? A lot of the photos aren’t worth sharing. They are just snapshots, poorly composed, or have nothing to say. Oh, sounds like some of my recent photos as well . . . . Never mind.

Here is a keeper from 2006. It’s one of the first decent photos I made with my Contax 645 and I framed and displayed it in a group exhibition. The film is probably Kodak E100G (sorely missed). I only had a standard lens at the time so it’s the 2/80 Planar that comes with the body. A fine lens, by the way.
